Lahore: (Right Now News) A dangerous armed criminal wanted in 47 cases was arrested on Motorway M-5 using the advanced ITS system. This success was achieved with the help of modern technology by the motorway police.

According to the motorway police spokesperson, the arrested criminal was also wanted in a robbery case involving 8.5 million rupees in Hasilpur, Bahawalpur. After identifying the suspicious vehicle, the motorway police set up a blockade and arrested the suspect after a thrilling chase.

The suspect was found with 10 solar inverters, 2 lithium batteries, 136,000 rupees in cash, a pistol, 10 bullets, and fake number plates. The recovered vehicle was also wanted in a shop theft case in Bahawalpur.

The suspect, vehicle, and recovered items have been handed over to Uch Sharif police and CCD Bahawalpur for further legal action. This operation will help curb the rising crime on the motorway.
