Islamabad: (Right Now News) Two Pakistani gold medalist Taekwondo athletes are seeking sponsors to participate in an international event. Sumbul Fatima and Tayyaba Ashraf aim to compete in the Taekwondo international competition in Thailand.

Last year, these athletes won 5 gold and 1 silver medal in the same competition, bringing pride to the nation. Both athletes are determined to participate in the event again this year.

Tayyaba Ashraf and Sumbul Fatima have stated that due to a lack of funds, they are facing difficulties for the event starting on July 31. They have expressed hope of finding sponsors through social media.

The athletes mentioned that due to the funding shortage, they have registered in fewer categories for the open event. They wish to win medals for the country once again in this event.
