Ishaq Dar and Saudi Foreign Minister discuss reducing regional tensions and continuing dialogue.
Islamabad: (Right Now News) Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar contacted Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan via telephone. The two leaders discussed the current tensions and recent developments in the region.
Both leaders expressed concern over the rising tensions between the US and Iran despite the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding. They stated that the intensity of the conflict is not in anyone’s interest.
Ishaq Dar and Prince Faisal agreed that efforts should continue to reduce tensions and maintain dialogue. They supported efforts to establish peace and stability.
The Saudi Foreign Minister informed about ongoing diplomatic efforts and Saudi Arabia’s stance. He emphasized the importance of restraint, continued dialogue, and reducing tensions.
