Tehran: (Right Now News) Iran has completely closed the Strait of Hormuz, with Parliamentary Speaker Baqer Qalibaf announcing the end of unilateral agreements. He stated that the United States was warned that failing to fulfill promises would have consequences.

Baqer Qalibaf stated on social media that the U.S. breached promises through coercion and power, and a response will be given. He further mentioned that the Strait of Hormuz can only be opened under Iranian management.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guards’ Navy announced that the Strait of Hormuz has been closed following foreign interference until further notice. They stated that any attempt to use illegal routes will be met with a strong response.

The IRGC Navy reported that several ships did not correct their course despite warnings, leading to their detention. They stated that ships will not be allowed to pass until U.S. interference ends.

It should be noted that Iran had warned the U.S. that any violation would result in targeting enemy bases in the region.
