Gaza: (Right Now News) The Palestinian organization Hamas has announced the end of its governance in Gaza. This move paves the way for the establishment of a civil administration in the region.

The head of Hamas’s governmental media office stated that the head of the emergency governmental committee has resigned. The decision to dissolve the committee was made to facilitate the transfer of powers.

This decision marks a significant political shift for Hamas, which has been ruling Gaza since 2007. Hamas claims this step is to prevent Israel from justifying war.

The National Committee for Administration will be led by Palestinian technocrat Ali Shath, established with the help of the U.S. President. This committee is expected to manage Gaza’s administrative affairs.

It should be noted that the committee’s relocation to Gaza is pending due to objections from Israel. Hamas insists that progress is impossible without an effective Palestinian administration.
