Islamabad: (Right Now News) A consultation between the government and PPP on the federal budget is expected today. A PPP delegation led by President Asif Zardari will meet with the government team.

Before this meeting, President Zardari will hold internal consultations with the PPP team, including Bilawal Bhutto, Murad Ali Shah, Naveed Qamar, and Sherry Rehman.

Sources have revealed that the center is demanding funds of 1700 billion rupees from the provinces. The meeting time with the government team will be set after the PPP meeting.

Prime Minister’s advisor Rana Sanaullah has stated that discussions are ongoing for a budget figure, and preparing the budget will be difficult without resources.

It should be noted that if PPP’s concerns are not addressed, the meeting will be held again today. An Economic Coordination Council meeting will also take place upon Bilawal Bhutto’s return to Islamabad.
