E-challan has started on Shahra-e-Faisal for lane violations, urging public cooperation.
Karachi: (Right Now News) E-challan has been initiated against motorcycles, rickshaws, and commercial vehicles violating lanes on Shahra-e-Faisal. The e-challan system issued hundreds of fines on June 1, targeting vehicles using the fast track.
DIG Traffic has urged citizens to drive their vehicles in designated lanes. Motorcycles, buses, and cars must adhere to lane rules. The traffic police spokesperson has appealed for public cooperation.
The spokesperson further stated that currently, fines are not being sent to bikers using the second lane on the right. In the coming days, fines will also be issued to motorcycles and commercial vehicles using the second lane on the right.
This measure aims to enhance public safety and improve traffic flow. Citizens are advised to follow traffic rules to prevent accidents.
It is important to note that Shahra-e-Faisal is a major thoroughfare in Karachi, with thousands of vehicles traveling daily. Lane violations not only increase the risk of accidents but also cause traffic jams.
