Islamabad: (Right Now News) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with business leaders from across the country. The meeting focused on consultations regarding industry, exports, and investment ahead of the upcoming federal budget.

Business representatives presented proposals for tax relief, prompt refund payments, and reforms. They demanded measures to boost industrial production and increase exports.

The Prime Minister instructed the FBR to clear all pending tax refunds by June 15. He stated that further steps will be taken in the upcoming budget to support industry and enhance production.

Shehbaz Sharif attributed economic stability to continuous efforts. He mentioned that the government will focus on rapid development and increasing exports.

It is noteworthy that the federal budget for 2026-27 will be presented on June 5. Before the budget, the business community is urging the government for swift decisions and practical actions.
