Lahore: (Right Now News) Pakistan team’s head coach Mike Hesson has stated that the perception that all South African pitches are fast and bouncy is incorrect. According to him, spinners also have opportunities at venues there, which is important.

Mike Hesson mentioned that there are misconceptions in the commentary about pitches in Pakistan during World Cup preparations. He further added that the World Cup is being jointly hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.

The head coach explained that spinners can play a crucial role at venues in Zimbabwe and Namibia. Pakistan is set to play matches there, and saying that all South African pitches are fast is not accurate.

He also noted that some venues in South Africa highlight the importance of spin bowling. In Pakistan’s last ODI series in South Africa, the role of spinners was evident in the Paarl match.

It is worth noting that Mike Hesson has said that they have conducted extensive research and will prepare for all types of conditions over the next 18 months.
