Islamabad: (Right Now News) Pakistan has condemned the drone attack on Abu Dhabi’s nuclear power plant, calling it a violation of international laws. The Foreign Office spokesperson expressed solidarity with the UAE government and people over the attack on the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant.
The spokesperson stated that targeting nuclear facilities is a grave violation of international laws. Attacks on nuclear installations pose threats to global peace and the environment.
According to the Foreign Office, the sanctity of civilian nuclear infrastructure is an international principle. Pakistan has urged all parties to de-escalate tensions and exercise restraint.
It is clear that Abu Dhabi authorities reported a fire at the Barakah plant in the Al Dhafra region due to the drone attack. However, there were no casualties, and radiation safety standards were not compromised.
