Lahore: (Right Now News) Chairman of Pakistan Ulema Council, Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi, stated that those coming from Afghanistan to kill Muslims in Pakistan are killers, not Mujahideen. He emphasized that Jihad must be according to the Quran and Sunnah.

According to the National Peace Committee’s statement, true Jihad is what our leadership conducted against India. Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi further mentioned that Jihad is what soldiers perform at the border.

He expressed sorrow over the martyrdom of Maulana Idris, stating that his only crime was praising a leader striving for global peace.

Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi remarked that Syed Asim Munir is trying to unite the nation. The killing of innocents has no connection with Islam.

It should be noted that Maulana Idris was targeted for his statements. He had said that those coming from Afghanistan to kill Muslims are not Mujahideen.
