Washington: (Right Now News) US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that the US Navy has blocked 70 Iranian tankers in the Strait of Hormuz. He stated that Iran will not be given control of the Strait of Hormuz.

Marco Rubio, speaking to the media in Italy, mentioned that his meeting with Pope Leo was pleasant and various issues were discussed. He also noted that Southern Cuba is not accepting humanitarian aid, while the US is ready to provide more assistance.

Rubio further stated that the US is prepared to negotiate with Iran and is awaiting their response. He clarified that yesterday’s action is not related to the Epic Fury operation.

He emphasized that the confrontation with Iran was defensive and that the US will respond firmly to any threats. He added that no country can remain silent about Iran’s nuclear weapons.

It is noteworthy that the US is working on Iran’s nuclear weapons issue and is in talks with the Lebanese government to stop Hezbollah’s financial support.
