Islamabad: (Right Now News) The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to construct a new park on one thousand acres at the foothills of Margalla. The project aims to enhance the beauty of the federal capital and provide recreational opportunities for the public.

A meeting chaired by Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi reviewed Islamabad’s development projects. It was decided that five-star hotels will be built in the city through joint ventures with international firms. Progress on the five-star hotel being developed in collaboration with EOBI was also reviewed.

Mohsin Naqvi stated that Islamabad should be made an exemplary city with international-standard facilities and recreational opportunities. The Interior Minister ordered the formulation of a zero-tax new hotel policy for investors. A marketing team was also directed to be appointed for future auctions.

It was also decided that the Capital Emergency Services control room will be established in Safe City. The meeting was informed that a digital dashboard will be introduced under the one-window operation in CDA, while unnecessary posts will be eliminated.

It is noteworthy that the development projects in Islamabad aim to align the city with global standards, increasing public convenience and recreational opportunities.
