Islamabad: (Right Now News) Pakistan has offered to host the second round of talks between Iran and the US. Pakistani officials have proposed holding the talks in Islamabad before the ceasefire period ends.

The second round of negotiations between the US and Iran is expected on Thursday. US officials have indicated that both parties are considering face-to-face talks.

According to American media outlets, negotiations between the two countries are ongoing, with progress being made towards reaching an agreement.

Pakistan states it will continue to play a role in ensuring sustainable peace in the region. Previously, the first round in Islamabad on April 11 ended without a deal.

It should be noted that Iran’s President and Russia’s Foreign Minister have expressed hope for positive progress in the talks, expecting Iran to take steps for global energy supply.
