During an interview, Sahir Ali Bagga stated that when tensions arise between Pakistan and India, India immediately imposes bans on Pakistani content. He mentioned that Pakistani songs are banned on Indian platforms, while Indian songs are being played in Pakistan.
The singer suggested that if the Indian government or platforms are restricting Pakistani music, Pakistan should respond accordingly. He believes such measures are necessary to promote the local music industry.
He further added that India initiated this trend, so Pakistan should also stand by its industry to provide opportunities for local artists.
It is noteworthy that despite the popularity of Indian songs in Pakistan, India has imposed restrictions on Pakistani content, affecting local artists.
