Islamabad: (Right Now News) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has ordered strict measures against the smuggling and illegal hoarding of petroleum products. This decision was made in a meeting aimed at ensuring the supply chain, savings, and austerity in light of the regional situation.

The meeting reviewed various measures to provide relief to low-income groups. The Prime Minister directed the relevant ministries to present final proposals after consulting with the provinces.

Shehbaz Sharif stated that in the past three weeks, the federal government has taken significant steps to provide relief to low-income groups, and this effort will continue.

He further mentioned that by controlling oil prices through budget cuts and various savings measures, the common man has been provided relief worth 129 billion rupees.

It is noteworthy that due to timely decisions by the federal government, an adequate supply of petroleum products is available for national needs, and providing relief to the public remains the government’s top priority.
