Islamabad: (Right Now News) OGRA has announced action against the excessive pricing of LPG nationwide. All companies have been instructed to comply with the official rate list.

According to the OGRA spokesperson, monitoring of the LPG sector has been intensified. OGRA has initiated field inspections across the country to ensure sales at the March 2026 set prices. All provincial governments and district administrations have also been directed to take action.

The statement indicates that overcharging in the LPG market will not be tolerated. The price for LPG in March is set at 225 rupees per kilogram, while it is being charged at 400 to 450 rupees in the market.

Officials state that domestic cylinders priced at 2665 rupees are being sold for up to 5 thousand rupees. This situation is causing difficulties for consumers and will be addressed immediately.

It should be noted that OGRA oversees the energy sector in the country and takes strict action against price violations.
