Disagreements between Netanyahu and Mossad have intensified following the failure of an uprising in Iran.
Tehran: (Right Now News) Iran’s official news agency Tasnim News has claimed that disagreements have intensified between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Mossad Director David Barnea over the strategy against Iran. Reports indicate that Barnea did not attend any joint meetings with Netanyahu last week.
The dispute began when Netanyahu accused the Mossad chief of providing incorrect information about Iran’s military capabilities. According to Netanyahu, the potential failure could pose a serious threat to Israel’s existence.
Mossad claims they provided accurate information to the Prime Minister, but Netanyahu initiated the conflict based on personal ambitions. Mossad states that in case of failure, the responsibility will lie with the Prime Minister.
According to Iranian media, some sources suggest that accusations were exchanged over the leaking of information about Iranian spies and sensitive centers. Trust between the two leaders has eroded.
It should be noted that previously, the Times of Israel also claimed that Netanyahu had adopted a Mossad plan at the start of the Iran conflict. However, contrary to expectations, no public uprising occurred, and Iranian leadership showed resilience.
